Dear Readers,
The message to align my actions with my intentions came to mind today. Albert Einstein once said "Everything Is Energy and That’s All There Is To It. Match the Frequency of the Reality You Want". Such a simple mindset can lead to the largest changes in your life.
If you find yourself at a crossroads, Take a few moments to breathe and ask yourself with a clear and open mind- "What's in it for me". If the answer you receive is less than what your highest self deserves, a certain nagging feeling will arise in the pit of your stomach... This is a gut feeling that there is a change to be made for your highest good.
Whether this change is large, or small, know that by acknowledging the yearning for positive change you are headed in a positive direction. Allow yourself the time to evaluate and digest this information.
May you all be blessed with Light and Love!
Namaste

Let Go Of That Which Isn't Right For You....Especially in Love...
Even though it is hard.... Sometimes you know something isn't right for you....
Especially when it comes to love relationships..
Even though you truly think they are a great partner for you...
If they do not fulfill your basic needs in a partnership, you deserve to ask yourself;"Is this the best partnership for me?"...
"Dating" is a new aged way of the mating dance. Do you know how you are dancing?

F is for Friendship
What is friendship?.... Friendship is like a sponge with a scrubber on one side... One side being like a sponge to soak up their inspiring words... And the other, an abrasive scrubber which represents the truth... Sometimes the truth may be rough, but in the end it cleanses the dirt and grime.
*Friendship is the universe's way of connecting us with like minded souls for the purpose of familiarity and sharing.*
Friendships are the most meaningful relationships of all. Friends are the ones whom we truly open up to. We choose to connect with these individuals outside of our bloodlines and our love interests. We choose to experience life in their company. These are the people with whom we share the most intimate secrets and desires, because they are not our lovers, and they are not our mothers.
A true friend will not judge. They will only evaluate and provide feedback for the better of your existence. A real friend will tell you the truth, no matter how hard it is to hear. When it comes to the hard truth, a friend will be aware of whether or not you are only hearing them or actually listening.... To hear versus to listen makes all the difference in the world. Hearing goes in one ear and out the other; i.e. you hear a train speed pass as you walk down the street with ear buds in. Yet you are listening to the music lyric for lyric pumping from those ear buds, stepping in stride to the beat as the train goes by.
Realizing this difference may make a change in how you converse with those around you. It will cause you to slow down; and take everything in that the person has to say to you. When we slow down, and can truly soak up the point of every statement, we are able to open ourselves up to a new perspective.
A friend is a person with whom we chose to connect, no one can force you to be friends with anyone.
The next time a friend has something to say; please listen, and soak up all that the words they speak. Allow yourself to be like the "friendship sponge", take in all the loving moisture the "friendship faucet" turns towards you... Use that moisture to clean the area around you... Sometimes that requires facing the truth, owning up to your faults, and being honest. No matter how thick the layer of grime is on a situation, the "scrubber" side of your friendship will provide you the confidence you need to clean up any situation... Your real friends care for you and only wants to see you flourish in all of your glory. So enjoy the connection, and truly appreciate all that friendship stands for.
I write this today with gratefulness for all of the wonderful friends the universe has laid in my lap. You all keep me in balance with myself, and with my karma (LOL). We were drawn together for the purpose of familiarity within one's human experience, we are meant to be friends. I LOVE ALL OF YOU!
I wouldn't have it any other way!

Aloha Friends,
Today feels like a day of re-evaluation. A day for reflection on who I truly am. We all have things about ourselves that are difficult to look at. Everyone has experienced some sort of painful moment that was so hard to be in and we couldn't wait for tomorrow...
Well today is tomorrow! Lets feel good about our positive successions! If we happen to find ourselves in a moment of tough reality all we can truly do is remind ourselves that time goes on and we have beautiful things to look forward to.
You are the only person that can think for you; therefore your only true therapist or confident. Love yourself enough to make the right choices for you :).
Malama ke pono!

Aloha!
Today I am pondering all of the connections I have ever made with another human and how it has shaped my personal experience. When we share our feelings with others we often feel challenged to find the words to say to accurately describe what it is we are feeling. Unless there has been much practice in our diction, words can often be mistaken for a meaning that was not intended.
Our deepest relationship; mother, father, partner, etc; have the power to significantly alter our conscious thought to convey to the person with which we are speaking. The ultimate reason is because we care for the other person. Unfortunately, unless we have bared all of our feelings; the good, the bad, and the ugly, the people we care for and whom care for us cannot know how to soothe our aching heart when there is an issue.
There are people out there who may be sensitive to others feelings but no one can really read the EXACT train of thought in your head. It has been said many times and will be said again; think before you speak if you are unsure of the affect on the other person. There are many ways to say things openly and honestly with KIND words to say everything needed. Name calling, foul language, and hostile tones of voice can completely steer what could be a transforming conversation into the toilet.
If you care about the person you are speaking with, or even if you are presntly having a very hard time caring for that person, remember that they have feelings too. I am not saying one should candy coat the conversation, only to consider your word choice and the way the words are delivered. Creating a space where you open your heart and mind to truly connect with another person and share honestly can be a very strengthening experience. At times there are very hard things to say, yet when we say; "This is very difficult for me to speak with you about but I choose to be honest about ......." it sounds a lot better than " I really didn't want to tell you this.....".
It is OK to take a few minutes before a conversation and take a few deep breathes to clear our heart and mind. Taking these few extra moments to sort out your thoughts and align yourself with a truly happy opening of your heart can change the result of your relationships. This simple method of gathering yourself can direct your life in new ways. As well as remembering no one likes to be called foul names or have negative energy directed at them.
It makes us feel small, weak, and tumultuous when we are confronted with negativity. If you want positive results, be positive:)
It does take us time to break our negative habits in a world filled with confusing choices and changes. You are not alone in your feeling of lonliness because the people you aren't truly opening up to that you care about are being cheated of the whole you. If you can't talk to the people you love then you must question why, in reality, there is nothing we should feel that we need to hide. Part of the reward is getting to remind yourself that every postive step you take and choice you make is exactly that- a reward!
Happy Aloha Saturday!
